My Thoughts:
Ok. I have no idea where to start with this one. I have a lot of other anime in my queue but I always end up watching something else which is funny. This was one of those cases. I was all set to start watching Monster but for some weird reason ended up coming across Mouryou No Hako and watched it.
This is definitely not your typical anime series but it was hella of a good. There were no robots, no "powers", no love story, no weird characters with weird colored eyes or hair, no comedy, no fan service, nothing supernatural or fantasy. It was more realistic with characters that could have been played by real actors with their twisted psyches. It was like watching Criminal Minds but with more twists and well deeper characterization. You can get very confused if you don't watch carefully so if you plan on watching this make sure you are paying attention. I have not yet found episode 13 in sub, the only thing out there is raw but I know it is going to be good. I will be considering this as a completed series on my part since there is only one episode left and can't watch it since I do not speak or understand Japanese (...note to self maybe i need to start learning the language...LOL). The animation of this series was good. Everything flowed smoothly, the voice acting was good and the songs were great.
Overall, I give this a 5 out of 5. In the event that they want to release this here, I will definitely add this to my collection.
