Le Chevalier D'Eon

Plot (From Wikipedia):
The story begins in Paris 1742, when the body of a woman named Lia de Beaumont is found in a casket floating along the Seine. The only clue regarding her death is the word "Psalms", which is written in blood on the lid of the casket. D'Eon de Beaumont, Lia's younger brother and a knight in service of King Louis XV, takes it upon himself to investigate his sister's mysterious death, along with the strange disappearances of a number of French women. In his journey he comes across three companions to help him.

My Thoughts So Far:
I thought I would hate this series but it has turned out pretty good so far. I do not care much for the songs but the animation is pretty crisp. There are times though in the series that the faces of the characters look a little weird but it was negligible. So far I have only watched 5 episodes and they have been very engaging. Since I am working full time now, I know I cannot do a marathon on this one but given the chance I definitely would.

My Final Thoughts:
This series was pretty good. This is definitely not for everyone since this was more of a politically charged anime compared to supernatural and action. The plot was very interesting and they did a good job keeping me entertained since political type anime can be quite a snooze fest. The animation, I do have to say stayed pretty good. The scenery drawn was really beautiful. If you like a lot of action then this is definitely not for you. Overall I give this a 3 of 5.
