Plot (From Wikipedia):
Set in the modern age, the story is about Miharu Rokujou, who just wanted to live a normal life and inherit an Okonomiyaki restaurant. At the moment, his biggest problem was the constant pestering from Kouichi Aizawa and Durandal Thobari Kumohira, who started a NindÅ Club. Miharu wanted nothing to do with "ninjas" and turns them down every time. But soon, he is attacked by an actual group of ninjas and is protected by Kouichi and Kumohira. There, Miharu learns of the hidden ninja world Nabari, the roles of his classmate and teacher in that world, and of the secret art Shinra Banshou within him. The secret art, containing all the world's knowledge, is sorely coveted in Nabari. And because of that, Miharu cannot return to his normal life. He must become the "Ruler of Nabari" to survive.
My Thoughts So Far:
I started watching Nabari No Ou, finally!!!! LOL! This has been on my queue for quite awhile now and I finally started it.
So far it has been pretty good. Very different animation though. The characters are all very thin. It got a little getting used to. It honestly does not bother me anymore.
You will definitely have a love and hate relationship with the protagonist. The pacing of the episodes are good and the plot is definitely good.
Definitely planning on finishing this one.
My Final Thoughts:
This was definitely worth watching. I liked the story line a lot and as I said earlier the animation is quite different but you definitely will get used to it. My love-hate relationship with the protagonist continued on definitely till the end. Some of the characters were quite irritating though.
I liked the intro song very much. It was quite catchy. The ending song though, not so much! LOL!
I did not expect this series to have some drama but it was needed. This is not a heavy action anime. When there was action, it was not drawn out. I wish there was more anime though coz it was really cool that the setting was present time and there were ninjas.
Overall I will give this a 3.5 out of 5. It was worth watching but I don't think you will be missing much if you don't watch it unless of course you like the plot.
