Guin Saga

Plot (From ANN):
The ancient kingdom of Parro has been invaded by the armies of Mongaul, and its king and queen have been slain. But the "twin pearls of Parro," the princess Rinda and the prince Remus, escape using a strange device hidden in the palace. Lost in the Forest of Rood, they are rescued from Mongaul soldiers by a strange leopard-headed man named Guin, who has no memories except for the word "Aurra."

My Thoughts So Far:
I have watched about 18 or 19 episodes of Guin Saga. This is still airing in Japan so subbed versions is the only way to watch this right now. This series reminds me of Chronicles of Narnia, not by plot, setting or anything like that. It just reminds me of that. There are definitely parts that are dragging but it is what you would expect with a politically charged series. I am definitely continuing to watch this show and do not intend of dropping it. Guid Saga is starting to get really good.

My Final Thoughts:
This was definitely fun to watch for me but I am sure it will bore a lot of anime fans. I thought that since it was getting near the end that it would speed up a little bit but it did not. The ending was not fair at all. I thought that they probably just cut the story short because there seemed to be a time lapse between episode 25 and episode 26 that I thought I missed something.

The story was really good and interesting but they just seemed to skip so many parts that it felt rushed but at the same time what they showed felt like it was really dragging. I am not sure if there will be a second season but I am not even sure I would watch it.

Overall I give this a 3 out of 5. It was interesting enough for me but definitely would be a snoozer to a lot.
